Western Australia covers a huge range of building conditions, so where the home is going is important. A kit home for the Perth area will generally have quite different engineering requirements to a home being supplied to Broome, Karratha or Port Hedland.
Our homes are steel framed and can be engineered to meet the wind rating required for the building site. We can also supply cyclone-rated kit homes for areas of Western Australia where cyclone-rated construction is required.
If you’re building in a bushfire-prone area, the BAL rating of the property may also affect some of the materials and specifications required for the home. These requirements are best looked at early, before the kit is finalised.
There are some good reasons for using steel in Western Australia. It isn’t affected by termites, won’t rot and doesn’t warp or shrink like timber can.
We have a large selection of home designs, from smaller two-bedroom homes through to larger family homes, as well as country and coastal designs.
The plans aren’t set in stone either. If you like one of our homes but want to move a room, change the layout, add a verandah or make other changes, talk to us about it. In most cases we can look at modifying the design before it goes through engineering.

The kit is packed and transported to your site ready for construction. Freight costs depend mainly on the size of the home and where it needs to be delivered.
