We can arrange delivery of our steel kit homes to New Zealand, with a range of home designs available for customers looking to build on both the North and South Islands.
The homes are supplied in kit form rather than being transported as a completed building. This makes it possible to package the components for shipping to New Zealand, ready for construction once they arrive.
Our homes use prefabricated steel wall frames and roof trusses, along with the other components included in the selected kit.
Steel framing has a number of practical advantages. It won’t rot, warp or shrink and isn’t affected by termites or borers. The home also needs to be engineered for the particular site where it will be built.
Building requirements in New Zealand are different to Australia, so local requirements need to be established before the kit is finalised. This is particularly important when it comes to structural engineering and the conditions that apply to your particular building site.
We have a large range of designs, from compact one and two-bedroom homes through to larger family homes, country homes and coastal-style designs.
The standard plans can also be changed. If you’ve found a home that’s close to what you’re looking for but you’d like to alter the layout, increase the size or make other changes, we can look at those with you before the plans and kit are finalised.
Kit homes can be shipped to New Zealand, with the freight arrangements depending on the size of the home and its final destination.
Areas we can service include Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch, Hamilton, Tauranga, Whangarei, Rotorua and Gisborne, along with other locations throughout New Zealand. These are also the main locations specifically listed on the original New Zealand page.
